untangle terms of use
First draft, 18 October 2026. Things in [square brackets] need filling in or checking before launch. Not legal advice: worth a once-over from someone qualified before real users arrive.
Effective date: [DATE]
These terms are between you and Renoma Ltd, who makes untangle ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 13848042, registered office 74 Bradstocks Way, Sutton Courtenay, Abingdon, OX14 4DA. By using the app you agree to them. Contact: hello@untangledaily.com.
What untangle is
untangle helps you get things out of your head, sorted and planned. It uses AI (Claude, made by Anthropic) to sort your tasks and suggest a plan for your day.
It isn't medical advice. untangle is a planning tool. It doesn't diagnose, treat or manage ADHD or any other condition, and it's no substitute for a doctor or therapist.
The AI can get things wrong. It might put a task in the wrong bucket, misread a time, or suggest a plan that doesn't suit you. Check anything important, especially appointments and deadlines. You're in charge of your day. untangle just helps.
Your account
The app sets up an anonymous account for you. Keep your phone secure. If you delete the app without backing up your phone, your tasks go with it, because they're stored on your phone.
Subscription [fill in when the paywall is decided]
- untangle costs [PRICE] a [month/year] after a [LENGTH] free trial.
- Apple takes the payment and handles renewals, cancellations and refunds under its own terms. You can cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings › your name › Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- We'll remind you before your trial turns into a paid subscription.
- If we change the price, Apple will tell you first and you can cancel before it applies.
Fair use
Please don't: - try to break, overload or get round the app's limits or security - use the app to make anything illegal, harmful or abusive - copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app
Each person gets a generous daily allowance of AI sorting and planning. If you hit it, the app falls back to its own quick guesses until the next day.
Your content
What you type is yours. You give us permission to process it only to run the app for you, as described in the privacy policy.
If things go wrong
We work hard to keep untangle running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for missed tasks, appointments or deadlines, or for indirect losses. If we're found liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under UK law, or our liability for anything that can't legally be limited.
Ending things
You can stop using untangle and delete everything any time from Everything › Delete everything. We may suspend access if someone seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the changes apply.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also use your local courts.
